Canvas Fabric Print Tutorial and Giveaway

Hello, friends!
I hope you're all ready for an awesome giveaway! =]
Major props go to Sherry and John over at Young House Love for this awesome DIY idea.

Okay, so, once upon a time, my husband and I decided to buy a bunch of canvas and paint/draw a huge comic strip for our wall. Well, the backgrounds were painted, but that's as far as it got. I've been trying to think of something to do with these seemingly useless painted canvases because canvas is not a cheap craft resource. I found this idea in the Young House Love book and immediately sent out for my hot glue gun and trucked over to JoAnn's to buy some fabric.

I finally received my glue gun on Friday, and had the time to get to work last night. I love how it ties together the sitting area in my living room! This fabric has all the colors that are in both my mismatched chairs. =]

Here's how to do it yourself!

Canvas Fabric Print Tutorial

Materials:
Hot Glue Gun
Canvas size of your choosing
Enough fabric to cover the canvas

1. Cut your fabric so that you have enough to wrap around onto the wooden frame in the back.

2. Hot glue the fabric all the way around the frame, folding the corners like you're wrapping a present and gluing them as you go.

3. Let it dry!

Honestly, could it be any simpler? This project cost me about $8, and that's only because I hadn't yet invested in my own hot glue gun. I purchased the fabric at JoAnn's for $3/yard and only bought one yard. This covered my big canvas and the 11x14 that you are going to want to pay attention to.

Ready to find out how you can have one of these in your house, too, for free? It's simple, really.
All you have to do is trudge on over to my facebook page, like it if you haven't already, and invite anybody you think would be interested in entering this contest or reading my blog. I'm not going to ask you to share it or invite everyone on your friend's list, because who really wants to bug everyone that's ever made a connection with you?
After that's done, comment with your favorite color on this blog post or my facebook status concerning this giveaway.

That's it! I will close the contest and announce the winner as soon as my facebook page reaches 75 likes.

Yay, free stuff!
