30 Things - Week 2

3. Describe your relationship with your spouse.
Your daddy is the most amazing man ever. We laugh together over absolutely nothing pretty much all the time, he holds me when I cry, and we both work to better ourselves and help each other grow closer to God. We hold each other in high regard and share everything with each other;
I couldn't keep a secret from him if I tried. Yes, we're one of those couples that call each other on lunch break to discuss what we're eating and every thought that we've had since we last saw each other 5 hours ago. Baby girl, don't ever settle for someone any less amazing than your daddy.

4. List 10 things you would tell your 16 year-old self, if you could.
1. Even with school and work, this is the least amount of responsibility you will have for the rest of your life. Enjoy it.
2. Listen to your parents. Turns out, they actually know what they're talking about. You'll see that a little bit later.
3. Enjoy your time dating Brandon instead of only wishing to be older and married. Don't get me wrong, marriage is completely amazing, but you'll be married for the rest of your life; you'll only be dating for a few years. Enjoy all the expensive dates Brandon can afford now!
4. Don't try to be so mature that you scoff at the fun, childish things in life. Be mature when you need to be, be childish all the other times.
5. Don't get so consumed in Brandon that you let your other relationships fail. Brandon will always stick around, but friends will leave if you neglect them.
6. Hang out with your little brother. You'll regret losing your close relationship because you were too busy for him.
7. Don't worry so much about what people think about you. Don't flatter yourself; they really don't give you that much thought.
8. Go to all the midnight showings that you can. You can't go to many when you have to work early in the morning and they lose their appeal.
9. Spend less time on the internet and read more. (I could follow that one still, haha!)
10. Don't neglect your relationship with your mom. She is the best friend that will always be there for you.
